dc.description.abstract This study set out to determine the level of access to care and support services for the people living with HIV/AIDS in Enugu state and the challenges they face in getting them. The study was carried out in Enugu state using 587 respondents. Questionnaire and the in-depth interview were used to collect data for the study. The data were analyzed using percentages (%) and statistical package for social sciences (SPSS). The study adopted five testable hypotheses.Finance, distance to access and care centres and lack of ready availability of therapy are the major challenges faced by PLWHA in Enugu state. It is recommended that more involvement and greater demonstration of sense of commitment on the part of the government and other stakeholders will help in improving the lives of PLWHA. en_US
