dc.description.abstract	We prove the strong convergence of a new hybrid algorithm to a common element of the set of xed points of two demicontractive mappings and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem in Hilbert spaces. As a consequence, we obtain a hybrid algorithm for nding common elements of the set of xed points of two pseudononspreading mappings (or two strictly pseudocontractive mappings) and the set of solutions of an equilibrium problem.	en_US
