Abstract:
The uses of audio-visual materials and equipment are investigated, with a view to determining the services rendered in University libraries. Audio-visual materials are found to be under-utilised. causes of under-utilisation are given. Investigation reveals that there are no significant differences in the use of audio-visual materials for information dissemination between Federal and State University libraries. Recommendation on how to improve usage of audio-visual materials are given.
