Corruption is pervasive in almost all facets of life in con tem pora ry
society. It also has a debilitating impact on econom ic, socio-cultural
and moral aspects 0,[ the societY.1 Corrup tion is therefore a cog in the

library which is part of the society is not exempt from corruption,
Therefore, a study or,corrup tion in public librari es is not only topical
