Shortcomings wereobserved in the areas of agricultural production, generation of income and meeting the nutntlonal needs of the populace. Inthis regards, effective ways to support Enugu State agriculturalsector by enhancing their aqricultural production, improving thestandard of living and the needed income of farmers were recommended. Also, recornmendatlons based on the role ofgovernment, NGO'S and the private sectors in overcoming the intternal and external difficulties that will accelerate a sustainableeconomic growth in the aQricultural sector of Enuqu State were proposed.
