Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of demographic factors on use of electronic
resources among distance learners. Descriptive survey design is in the description of the influence of demographic factor on the use of electronic resources by undergraduate students in distance learning centres in Nigeria. Distance Learning Centre, University of Ibadan and National Open University, Ibadan Study Centre were selected for the study and copies of structured questionnaire and interview schedule were used in gathering of data. Data was analysed using descriptive and inferential statistics tested at 0.05 level of significance. The study found out that there is a significant relationship between age and level of study on the use of electronic resources. In conclusion, the study recommends that both young and old students should be encouraged and sensitized on the use of electronic resources.
