Ishioko
Musical
ensemble
of hunters . A musical heritage ,that had stood the taste of time in Ayogwiri sub-culture of Edo State .In fact this strong cultural artifact has among the Ayogwiri people over the years ,Owing to the fact that most people still restrict their musical awareness to the music of their environment this musical tradition had been fully embraced by other societies .Therefore this work(1)shall expose sophisticated and refined musical tradition to the restricted lovers of music of different communities by projecting the features of Ishioko musical ensemble.(11)Shall provide background knowledge of Ayoggwiri
sub-culture
of
the
Edo
people
in
terms
or
their
location
and
culture.
(iii)
Will
also
examine
the
Ishioko musical group and review literature on it and related topics .Furthermore, this work shall also take cognizance of the musical characteristics of this famous music and shall conclude by reflecting on the artistic and aesthetic values germane to it.
