Abstract:
Management theorists and managers have demonstrated immense interest in job satisfaction. This is largely due to its perceived effect on job performance, job turnover, absenteeism, grievances and other vital issues pertinent to the survival of an organization. Work environment often determine job performance.
The aim of this study is to identify the impact of working environment of marketers performance in the marketing of banking services. The idea was to know if work environment affect the performance of marketers.
In carrying out the research, a review of related works by other researchers was carried out. Three hypotheses were formulated, the three were tested in the course of the study using t-test of proportion and Pearson Model Correlation. Questionnaire was used to collect data. The major research method was survey.
The research work revealed that work environment has a positive correlation with job performance in the marketing of banking services in Nigeria. Recommendations were then made on how to improve the working environment of marketers in the banking industry.
