Abstract:
The topic of this research is "An examination into the factors that impair the policy formulation and implementation in the manufacturing sector: A case study of UAC Nigeria Plc. Policy and entrepreneurship have an overpowering and dynamic effect in any business society as well as on each other. In its bid to set as well as achieve a given objective, any form of entrepreneurship makes constant use of a framework of guiding principles that no doubt facilitates the administration's appropriate tactics and programmes. It is a basic truth that a successful business entity community or system is a product of predetermined, selected course established as a guideline towards perceived goals and objectives. The objectives of this study include: I. to identify the problems/factors that impair the implementation of policies in the manufacturing company. ii. To determine what relationship exists between policy formulation and the various organizational functions in the company. 111. To find out if the act of policy implementation all the various managerial and operational functions influences the decision making process and to determine the extent of implementation of formulated policies by the manufacturing company.
