Abstract:
In any business undertaking, Internal Control System is the central responsibility of top
management, thus emphasizing its increasingly great practical importance in business.
The background of this study reveals how many flaws exist in business organizations in
general and restaurants in particular. A statement of the research problem has been made, the
objectives and significance of the problem also considered. Apart from reviewing related literature , data gathered through questionnaires, personal interview and observations have also been presented. A careful analysis of these data have been made, findings summarized, and a conclusion drawn. Suggestions and useful recommendations based on the findings have been made, together with some areas for further research.
